Chamomile OilChamomile is often used in Massage Oils because it is a traditional favourite for promoting relaxation, reducing muscular tension and helping stress-related conditions, such as nervous tension and insomnia.

It is a powerful calming agent, as well as antibiotic, antiseptic, antidepressant and overall mood lifter. The oil is recommended for premenstrual syndrome and for calming anger and agitated emotional states.  It is also effective in calming down annoyance, anger, and irritation, particularly in small children! Good to know!  Psychologically, Chamomile is calming, balancing and deeply relaxing, and has a gentle restorative effect.

As Chamomile has painkilling properties, it helps reduce pain in the muscles and joints. It can also decrease the severity of headaches, sinuses and toothaches!

It has been found to be very effective in fighting depression. It can help eliminate feelings of sadness, depression, disappointment, and sluggishness while lifting your mood.

Chamomile for eczema

Chamomile is great for skin, reducing the appearance of scars and spots on the skin and on the face. It is particularly effective for eczema, limiting inflammation and softening and soothing dry, flaky skin. It is very calming to the skin and very gentle so can also be used on sensitive skin.

Chamomile is also good to use with children and infants and can be used in a cream on their skin. It can help most of their common ailments, as it is both gentle and effective and safe.
